Holiday Gift Guide for Moms (part 2!)

My little sister, Lauren Fici of In an Instant, LLC (check out her work! Best event and wedding planner ever!) became a mom this year! We are totally in love with our sweet nephew. After seeing the great response to the Holiday Gift Guide for Moms I asked Lauren what her favorite things are. When initially asked, Lauren sent me her favorite things for baby. It’s hard to think beyond what our kids love to get to what we really love! I was excited to see this list from Lauren. Here are her favorites that would make great holiday gifts for anybody, but especially moms! (Links included!)

  1. Erin Condren Planner (I linked this similar planner here) : Lauren likes that it’s colorful, has tabs and places for her stickers and notes. She says “It’s good for my planner self!”

  2. Chromebook : Lauren likes how it’s easy to use and lightweight. It’s good on the go. All my kids have Chomebooks for school and they have been durable and great so far.

  3. Lipsmacker Cola or Dr. Pepper Flavor: Who doesn’t love a bit of nostalgia in their stocking? Lauren loves how this chapstick smells and tastes.

  4. Bath Bombs: At the end of a long day of planning high end weddings as well as caring for a baby, Lauren loves to relax in a tub with bath bombs. I’ve linked to a great set, but you can also make your own combining 1 cup baking soda, 1 cup citric acid, 1/2 cup Epsom salts, 1/2 cup fractionated coconut oil and 10 to 12 drops of Lavender Essential Oil and fitting into a bath bomb mold. Add food coloring and/or dried flowers, lavender or glitter to make it pretty!

  5. Weighted Blanket: Lauren loves the way she sleeps when snuggled in a weighted blanket. This one is so soft and plush, sure to keep you warm and wrapped in luxury this winter!

  6. Fleece Leggings: I discovered these years ago while living in chilly Europe, but Lauren loves these too. We both agree that when wearing them out we don’t want to take them home and sometimes even wear them to bed!

  7. Kendra Scott Jewelry: This classic and versatile jewelry matches any outfit and can be dressed up or down.

  8. Yeti Colster: Lauren works long hours and enjoys LaCroix and other canned drinks to keep her going. She recommends the Yeti Colster which slips over your canned drink. Unlike a standard Coozie, it actually keeps the drink cold for hours while also keeping your hands warm.

  9. Sanuk Flip Flops: “These are literally made of yoga mats”, Lauren said. It’s true! Slip on these babies and feel the soft cushiony goodness all day long.

So there you have it! Nine more gift ideas for moms! Thanks Lauren for your input!

Taylor
